Improving Children’s Confidence and Skills

I would highly recommend the reading services of High Five. Faith was knowledgable, patient and efficient. My son struggled with decoding and comprehension before using coaching services. Within a few sessions my son’s confidence and skills in reading were substantially improved. I am grateful to Faith for working with us. I appreciated her request in a parent being present during the sessions in order to help reinforce skills at home. An excellent program and evaluator!

Empowering Parent and Child

Faith has literally been heaven sent. She has opened my eyes and helped my child so much. I appreciate everything she does and feel so lucky that I found her. My daughter struggled tremendously in school and I couldn’t understand why. It was her book Failing Students or Failing Schools that really helped me get the ball rolling. It empowered me and allowed me to search for answers and help to make changes in school. I attribute any and all progress my daughter has made to her expertise.

Wonderful Job Tutoring My Son

Faith did a wonderful job tutoring my son.
He was in second grade reading at a kindergarden level. He was struggling with his reading despite intervention from his school. Faith went back to the basics with phonics and letter sounds. He was engaged and liked the reading games. He finished the year reading at grade level. We are very grateful for her help.

Changing the Way Children are Taught

Faith is phenomenal in so many ways- patient and kind, incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about her work and helping struggling readers and to change the way they are taught, and so very smart. My daughter was frustrated with reading and starting to feel badly about herself, I’m grateful to Faith for helping her catch back up and showing us how to help our daughter. Most importantly my daughter adores Faith, she was comfortable with her, she could be herself around her, and made such a connection with her. I cannot recommend her enough.

I cannot say enough about Faith Borkowsky. She helped me navigate a path at home and at school to get my children the best reading and writing intervention possible. She consulted with my son’s school team which lead to new programs and methods being used and I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend her book!
